Quite a Journey!
It's been quite a journey. Who would have thought I would come this far? (Not I...)
Five months I was introduced to blipfoto by a friend (who called it a day after 275 blips). I thought it to be an excellent reason to pick up the camera more often.
There is so much to photograph in the world I thought it best to focus on a specific project: the garden.
I am enjoying this project tremendously. It requires daily attention and a sharp eye for detail. It is fun to hunt for something special, fun to share what I personally like and even more fun to find it being appreciated by you. Thanks for all your comments. I love them!
What I enjoy even more is the world my fellow blippers open up. A thousand different perspectives on anything.
So.
Before us lie winter, spring and early summer. I'm already looking forward to what is going to happen in the months to come and the captures they offer... The Helleborus wil flower in february, the first Snowdrops, the berries that bud so early, the exploding vines, new development projects, etc. etc. Eight more months before the circle is closed.
It's a beautiful day today. I've shot some awesome photo's but decided at last to continue with the tradition. Rummaged around behind the shed and found something to make this "composition".
