Whose shoes?

Dropped off my car for it's service this morning, and walking back to get the train home, my daughter noticed this pair of trainers hanging above the road from some cables. Not quite sure how or why they are there (they seem like a decent enough pair of trainers). Probably just another result of the festive season; but I bet there are some cold feet somewhere today!
