Spirit of the River Nene
W had to go to hospital in Northampton this morning to get his eyes checked. Fortunately there has been no deterioration.
We went to 78 Derngate this week and wanted to go back to take some pictures of the iconic door. One of the best small museums in the country. One of the last architectural commissions for Charles Rennie Mackintosh. However the blip I wanted to use was not sharp. It was so cold that I was shaking too much. Those which were usable were too much like W's or too cliché.
Found this in Becket's Park. Part of a sculpture representing the River Nene. Have not been able to find out anything about the artist but am searching for more information. It looks very cold and I toyed with the idea of making it b/w but I quite like the icy blue.
