Having possibly driven all the way from Glasgow in awful conditions it must have been pretty galling to end up in the ditch here. The vehicle is only just over sixteen miles from the ferry terminal at Uig from which the ferry departs for Tarbet in Harris. From there it is a not terribly long drive to Stornoway.
