Our latest acquisition

J9s collective have teamed up with an artists group in New Mills Derbyshire for a joint exhibition.

They have a great venue, turning the upstairs room at the Beehive pub into The Art Lounge and tonight was their opening night. We couldnt resist this screenprint by Andrew Wrigley, its inspired by an old Marlene Dietrich and has a lot of layers with text forming the tones of the skin.

Cant wait for the exhibition to finish so we can get it on our walls... although not looking forward to explaining to the clan that i have spent the turkey money and its spam fritters for christmas dinner this year...
