Abstract musings

Not an easy day today. It was my Auntie H's funeral in Sunderland. Thankfully the roads were clear, if icy in places, and we had a good journey both ways. I had been asked to conduct the funeral. It went as well as it could I think and people were very appreciative afterwards. I'm now exhausted.

This blip is the result of experimenting with oil in water - in a jug - lit by a desk lamp - with my new pashmina hanging behind it. Most results totally hopeless so I settled for this. The tiny pin pricks are bubbles in the water against the side of the plastic jug, nothing to do with the oil. I have rotated the image through 180 degrees and made layered adjustments in curves to increase contrast.

Best I can manage today I think. (It was fun trying.)
