christmas comes early

Having a lovely day at home - Christmas music is playing, mom is visiting from Alaska, I swept the sidewalk like a dutiful neighborhood resident, and we met the family across the street.

My dear, darling wee discovered the presents under the tree ... opened her first gift, the adorable handmade hat she is wearing, but was -gasp!- more into the wrapping paper said hat came in. Thanks, Julie, it's like two gifts in one!
