Ouch!

Commeuter, Redridergirl's horse had a manic period of running around like wolves were on his heels. He'd run up and down the outside pen and come in and circle the arena and start over again. On one trip around his circuit, he cut a corner a bit too close and took off the hair in an area about 2 inches square. That smartened him up a bit and he stopped running around for the day.
