Christmas lights

Got the tree up today. Usually, we wait until the 10th, but due to performances at VPA, paper writing and the fact that the 10th is a Monday, we did it early. My job is the lights, which is serious business. First you have to wrap the trunk, followed by careful placement at mid branch, then finally at the tips of the branches, giving the tree a balanced fully dimentional look. My husband thinks I should just put one strand on the outside of the tree. Ugh.
