Bare Bones

This is the first picture I plan to submit as the initial part of the photography course I am doing at Telford. We have to think about still life photography and I'm finding it really hard as it's not something I consciously ever do.

A lot of still life photos leave me thinking, "Yeah, so?" and I'm not sure this isn't the same. I think I like the two natural textures and the question of why the jaws are tied up like that.
