hello birdie

Yesterday, on one of our walks at DeSoto memorial (Bradenton, FL) we rounded the corner to see this magnificent bird on a tree branch over the water. A Great Blue Heron, if I am not mistaken. He or she stayed there a long time and I took quite a few photos with different settings, but I like this one the best.
