Snow at last
The weather in the South West of England is often described in euphemistic terms: moist, equable etc. The fact is that we tend to get warm and wet weather in winter, and by the coast are rarely troubled by snow, even when the rest of the country is up to its oxters in the stuff.
This morning, however - a revelation. Around two inches of snow: enough to cover the landscape and make a laughing stock of my modern camera's metering system. Time to switch to manual and the 'sunny f16' rule. I had a choice of many shots today, and decided on a close-up in the end.
