snowy day on the marsh

We woke to snow again today and should have been going north to Birmingham but sense prevailed when we checked the roadwatch and weather - a good job as one poor soul took 6 hours getting from Birmingham to Oxford and then abandoned car...we were supposed to be going up and back in the day. Instead we had a lovely walk around Stanpit marsh where bird life was in abundance and it was looking beautiful.

I feel for those with much more snow though I am sure if this is global warming we will get more able to deal with it like other countries who regularly have winter snow. I'm just glad to have my ski gear!
