Why is it that despite having plenty of warning about the impending snow Britain still grinds to a halt? It's ridiculous.

Here's hoping the roads are safe again by tomorrow so I can actually see my fella and also that they're clear on Friday otherwise I won't be able to see my parents :/

Stupid snow. Stupid lack of snow-capable transport in Britain. Stupid just-about-everything.
