Where's the food?

After yesterday's Feed The Birds blip an alert went out on RFA (Rare Food Alert), the avian equivalent to Rare Bird Alert , and this Long-tailed tit came round to check it out. Unfortunately, and much to my shame, a negative alert was then filed as there was no sign of any food.

Regular viewers know that we take great care of the birds at home, but here with no garden the story is different. However shamed by the disapproving look from the Long-tailed tit and the response of fellow blippers we paid a visit to B&Q (there are other Garden Centre & DIY outlets available) and came back with a nut feeder, sunflower seed feeder & nyjer seed feeder. I spent late afternoon fixing them to our balcony in the hope that tomorrow a further alert will be issued on RFA.
