Calf

Another cold one today, -16C in Ballindalloch.

We are renting Shenval Farmhouse for the Christmas week, so took the food and wine today. We are staying there from tomorrow.

We went to Avon Lodge to check on the hens.

On the way out we passed a couple of young calves suckling. We have been watching them for a week or two now since they were born.

This calf had finished by the time I got my camera out, but looked straight at me - milk still on it's lips!
