Another Use for the Trooper?

My poor old Isuzu Trooper was evicted from the garage a couple of months ago to make room for the stuff that had been stored in the basement. It's going to have stay on the driveway until the basement project is finished (around January 12th). We've had a lot of rain in the last few weeks, and some of it found its way into the Trooper. The front floor mats are now quite wet.

I was worrying about about the possibility of mould or fungus growing there, and when I saw this mushroom-growing kit from Cascadia Mushrooms at the Famers' Market I was tempted. As the saying goes, if you can't beat them, join them.
