Wind turbine, Brooklyn hill
Wind turbines are superb renewable energy technology for Wellington, where northwest and southerly winds funnel through Cook Strait. This is a shot of Wellington's oldest turbine, built above Brooklyn in 1993.
It's been a blustery, cloudy and rainy day. What I really like about this shot is the reflection of the blades on the wet surface of the turbine tower. I only noticed the reflection when I looked at the image back at home.
