Fishermens Bend

We parked in our favourite place just by a lovely pond at Fishermens Bend. Woke up to rain, great no need to get up! halfway through a really good book, Jump by Jilly Cooper.
Maggi & I used the rain to read most (all)! of the morning, the men went off to catch the big one, needless to say it or they got away.
Later in the afternoon we went for a drive over Benmore Dam to Otamatata to get the paper.
For a brief moment the sun burst through the clouds lighting up the pond and the trees by the bus.

Lazy day.
