Contractor's Yard 2

This is a view toward the east from the rear of the second floor of our (1st floor in Europe--one floor above our ground floor apartment). Here it is LARGE.

It's interesting to compare it with this ground-level view perspective on the trucks. Both shots include the new house which has replaced one of those burned by an arsonist last December (here we see its blue roof behind the tree on the left; the story is here). Don't miss the characteristic Northampton brick construction :-)

The two dump truck have their beds raised (which carry the load). I had to ask about that and was told the obvious: that it's to prevent rain accumulating while they're parked.
