Awoke to this view today of Ben Venue looking magnificent across Loch Achray - with its top clearly visible against the blue sky. You can go days around here and never get to see that - so we are truly blessed!

Another good thing today - Rob has arrived from Edinburgh to spend the rest of the week with us. He's the son that went round the world. This time, last year, he was in South Africa right at the start of his travels - and he seemed very far away.

But now we have him here, all to ourselves for a bit. Truly blessed indeed ........
