Tree
The Smith family Christmas tree. This is a hallmark of Christmas to me personally, when the tree is put up it totally changes the feel of the house. The furniture is rearranged and the pine smell fills the house, it's really distinctive and I associate it with Christmas more strongly than the tree itself. The shot is pretty sketchy but it reflects the nature of the the tree which I think is pretty sweet.
I've blipped this image because I am actually in my house on Sunday nights now and will have this luxury for another two months. University has finished for the holidays so I dont need to go back.
It has definitely been a difficult semester and I have had to put in alot of effort in order understand my coursework and make sure I meet deadlines. It's not all that fun to be honest, but it is what needs to be done. I think I have difficulty in that even though I have classes and seminars to attend, my days still lack any kind of structure. But I suppose you just have to make your own. Im over half way done with my degree now, which is actually scary in a way but Ive still got plenty of time before those big final exams or dissertations and all that so I'll make the most of what time I have before I have to work 5 days a week.
Anyway Im done with university for a while, which Im pretty hyped on, wish I could say the same for Christmas shopping . . .
