The Joys!

Murron and Rowan are at fever pitch, Sam is playing it ever so slightly cool. I have lost count of how many times Murron has asked 'Is it Christmas tomorrow?' and Rowan has disappeared under the tree raking around for presents with her name on. Rowan also has the capacity to talk the hind legs off a donkey and today she has mostly been doing just that, very fast and with little or no pause for breath. On our walk this afternoon, Rowan had the perfect partner, in Grandmere , for her Christmas monologue. Grandmere is deaf in one ear and Rowan was walking on the 'deaf side.' So they both walked along, hand in hand, one talking excitedly, the other oblivious to what was being said!
