The Red Belly

This is the red-bellied woodpecker. I believe it's a female. I was a little excited to see this one today, it's a bit larger and a striking bird... The hawk that usually keeps an eye on the bird feeders has returned this weekend. That's on my blip list now, to try and get a decent photo of it sometime, (hopefully not having lunch at my bird feeders) Tomorrow I'm back to work after being off for a week,

I'm already dreading Monday morning a bit :)
