Water like a stone

I'm now fed-up with breaking ice.
I didn't measure it but you can see from the spade behind that it is thick -thicker than a brick- and I can tell you it is heavy and difficult to break.

I think the geese said thankyou.

Off to the vets now with two broken dogs.
One gammy eye and one ripped claw......more expense.
Can any-one tell me why we do it?

I've also had enough of bleak which is why I've added a splash of colour.
