Getting to grips!!

Still trying out my new canon 40d and it's not easy, the weather has not helped being so dark and dull. I tought the camera was faulty at first but after Slant gave it the once over last nite it's completely sound. A break in the clouds at lunchtime today enabled me to take this shot.
