ladder eating icicle

The snow and ice ripped me gutters right orf, they did (oo er!) And Not only that I did a bit of a temporary fix and discover that a giant alien icicle has sneaked out of a downpipe and trapped my ladder. I suspect it is going to abduct it and perform terrible alien experiments on it. Temp is now minus 8ºc and falling. Gutter fixing or mince pie and port? Hmm, tough one.
