Santa

Well the tree's up and the presents are nearly there so I thought I would blip one of my special tree ornaments given to me by my wee girlfriend. I hope she makes it through the snow. xxx

I laughed in the face of snow and travel warnings this morning and made it smoothly to Edinburgh, however rumours of freezing fog spooked me at lunchtime and I headed to Waverley station only to find that the two routes to Glasgow were closed with all trains cancelled. That wiped the smile off my face.

However, much to my surprise, I discovered that there was a third route! A train to Helensburgh, whilst stopping at loads of stations, passes through an obscure Glasgow Queen Street low level platform. Result! Mind you, 3.5 hours travelling with every possibility of getting stuck means that tomorrow will be another day based working from home.

I can really feel the cold biting now. Hope everyone is managing to keep warm.
