Balmullo in the Snow

After doing some wrapping, well in truth, supervising wrapping yesterday as that is one of Mr Lifs few Christmas tasks and something which drives me into a minor frenzy. All that sticky tape, mis-cut pieces of paper, self-adhesive sticker which dont and lost scissors, not for me :) Anyway, after the wrapping was done yesterday, it seemed we were a few presents short of a Christmas

So, this morning I donned my boots and headed into town. Froze almost to death waiting 55 mins in temps of -4 (in which time 2 buses should have arrived) However, after a soup and a roll in M&S, I ramped it up a gear and got through the list lickety split style. Everything ticked, I was soon speeding back to the warmth of home.

The weather is taking its toll on festive visitors already. My sister in law has. tonight, cancelled her trip up, my sister is due on Thursday and my daughter wont finish work in Glasgow till Friday pm. Here's hoping they both make it through. Its going to be a strange old Christmas if some of the regulars are missing.

Pretty much from the same spot as yesterday's image, facing the other way and a bit later on in the day when the sun was heading down and a pink glow came over the sky.
