Snowman

Built by TPD and Son One this afternoon.

Snowed steadily most of the day. TPD sent out for provisions this morning (I'm too much of a wimp to drive in the snow, even in the Focus!), while the boys made Christmas cards for the grandparental types. They're fantastic, but I can't blip them yet in case prying eyes see them from the Facebook link.

This afternoon the elder two headed out to the Post Office. Son One moaned about having to go out, until TPD said they could do what they did yesterday - TPD on his mountain bike, pulling Son One on the sledge behind him. Never seen a kid get up and get his wellies on so quick! When they got back they played in the garden for what seemed like hours.

I stayed inside with Son Two. He seems to have man flu - heavy cold with a lot of whinging.

We were supposed to be going north to the outlaws' house for a pre-Christmas Christmas today, but TPD's dad is not well. He's having an op on his eye tomorrow morning. Last thing he needs at the moment is two exuberant small boys bouncing around all over the place. Hopefully we'll see them next week, at least briefly.
