Moonrise

I've waited a year in the hope that there would be a clear sky at this time of the year when the moon rises above the hills and the town skyline.

I wasn't disappointed and got a bundle of photos as the moon gently progressed across the skyline. It was bitterly cold - more snow yesterday evening - and Behr (our Bernese Mountain Dog) was looking more like a polar bear than a dog with all the snow and frost on his coat. But it was worth it - a great walk in the snow and some terrific views of a rare moonlit snow-covered skyline at night.
