Happy Birthday, Mom!

Today, Dec 20th, was my mom's birthday. She died at age 40, so I have no idea what she would have been like at 90, which is what she would be today, had she lived. I'm sure she would have been a feisty lady, going off to gamble in Las Vegas or something.

She was a pretty lady and this portrait of her was taken in the mid 1950's I believe when she was around 34-35 years old. It was taken in a studio in Santa Rosa, California and the photographer requested to display this photo in his window, if I remember the story correctly.

This isn't that great of a picture, because I learned that taking a picture of a framed, glassed picture can be a little tricky!!
