Sunrise over Sandia

I was up early today even though we had a late dinner party here. The lamb & chestnut tajine cooked all day. I added Israeli couscous. What a pain chestnuts are! If I did not love those friends so much, I would never go though the pain. Very delicious.

I saw the amazing light just as I arose, so I slipped into the back yard in my robe and slippers. Sometimes you have to be quick to catch this kind of light.
