Flower Replacements

It appears that Christmas ornaments have replaced flowers for me. I need to branch out. I'm interested in a DIY bokeh shaped filter. I was inspired by a recent picture that I added to my favorites - by Kinda Horrigans (I couldn't get the link to work). This would be in place of a Lensbaby - looking forward to playing around.
