Winter Solstice

Today is the Winter Solstice which in plain English is the shortest day and longest night and the first day of Winter. It was also a Lunar Eclipse, where the Eart come between the Sun and the Moon. The last one to occur on the Winter Solstice was in 1638 which is a bit before my time, or maybe not but that's another story . The next one is in 2094, so if you missed this one the chances of seeing the next one are virtually zero.
Well done to all blippers who trekked out to see this spectacle, i know it was a little cold and some people will have had icy toes and fingers. I trekked up the big hill in the village expecting there to be a few people up there but i was Billy no Mates!!!!!
