Lunar eclipse, very cold morning!
The lunar eclipse near totality on the Solstice morning, a chilling -12.5c at 7.30am!
I rarely blip such an early photo, but this was a rare event (last happened on Winter Solstice day in 1638) so must be event of the day!
Shot using D90 'handheld' on monopod, then Noiseware software used to clean up the high iso noise.
