With Calton Hill beyond. Am a bit stuck for a good blip today. It's supposed to be the start of the holidays but we've just heard that the trains are canceled in and out of Kings Cross today because of 'line disruption'. My son is therefore trying to find some other way of making his way north. Hmmm. It was bound to happen.

We went shopping, finding the supermarket pleasantly quiet, but the roads were heaving, nay practically gridlocked, so I got dropped off on North Bridge to take photos and walk the rest oid the way. This was the best of a pretty pour bunch in uninspiring flat grey light.
