It snowed today!!

No matter what I think about snow, it is lovely to see it actually falling, and today was amazing! It snowed for at least half the day and we must have had about 6 inches. I had some candle deliveries to make and decided it was 'now or never!' So off we went, in the snow - this photo was taken by Otter #1 from inside thcar as I was dropping off one of the orders. Otter #2 was a liitle bit reluctant and scared about driving in the snow and not a few said I was mad!! But we made it OK into Salisbury with only one mishap. i made the mistake of choosing one of the more rural roads, which was fine up unitl nearly the end of the road where we reached a bit more of a hill. We nearly made it to the top but we ran out of momentum before the top and began to slide backwards, and gently into the bank on the side of the road. It all happened very slowly so there was no real trouble. Otter #2 was very scared at this point though. we were sort of stuck against the bank and couldn't get enoough grip to move forwards, so I reversed along the bank, thankfully not scratching the car until at last I was able to get away from the bank and back into the road. Now the front of the car couldn't grip so swung round to face the opposite direction. Whew!! I was wondering how I was going to turn round. Now facing down the hill, I gently put it into first and drove back the way we had some and took a different route into town!! An excting little journey!!
