Flood

This is an ominous sign for the residents of the street where I work. The creek down the road is tidal, flowing into the Brisbane river, which is close to flooding because the water board is letting water out of the dams. They don't have a choice. A significant rain event could see Brisbane's lower lying suburbs flood.
There is a significant rain event predicted for tonight.
So the residents of Victoria street need to put up with some minor flooding.
It is better than May 09 when this whole area was under 6 foot of water!
