Yipee dee doo dah.....

....yipee dee yay, work is done for another day, actually....two week of holidays, happy happy me.

Finished up at work, got everything (well almost) up to date, cleared up my desk and out into the hot nor-west winds.  Another very hot day, home to more mess,  parts of trees and leaves on top of the ones that were destroyed yesterday.  30 deg, don't mind the warmth, its that wind that makes me cranky!!  

Locally there has been a large forest fire in the hills just south of here, 150 hectares destroyed, reported to be under control except for some hotspots....but worried about the strong winds may rekindle the flames, 15 helecopters in the air and many firefighters on the ground.

Christmas prep scheduled for tomorrow and the lawns mowed hopefully.  Visitors for lunch, and we have just been invited to neighbours for drinkies and din dins so another busy day ahead, all good though.

The longest day today here, and ofcourse that means the shortest for all you other folk......make the most of it!!!!??

Currently enjoying some refreshments, deserved wouldn't you think.  Strickly on in 30 minutes...
