Here's one I grew myself....

Meet my cholesterol! I packaged it all up into this neat little bundle - and had great fun doing it, no doubt, until it started wedging itself in awkward places in my bile duct. Now, I would claim that the experience was like child-birth! (Oh my goodness - now I sit back and wait for all my mother/blipfriends to give me a right telling off! So I say sorry in advance! :-) )

Anyway, it was pretty awful - visits from doctors, jabs in the middle of the night, etc.

So eventually out it came! And the gallbladder too - and now I eat, drink and be merry because there is nowhere left to store all that fat - except for in my liver and arteries of course!!!!

That's a few years ago now. The whole extraction process was done by a lovely friend of mine. A little after he died shockingly suddenly, out fishing. Funny how Christmas brings to mind those who are not here to shake a hand or give a hug to. Not funny at all really.
