Another foot of snow overnight. It doesn't seem to know when to stop. I had to venture out to try and clear my driveway, which is very, very steep - the first time I have been out since last Thursday, so that my sister-in-law can make it to the front door tomorrow! She's travelling from Newcastle to stay with me over Christmas............if the trains are running.

This weather brings out the best in everyone, as neighbours from down the road came along, armed with shovels and spades and helped to clear my drive and the pavement in front. Thanks so much.
