Mysore

Today we took the train to see Mysore. Mysore is about 130 km away from Bangalore where we were staying with my friend Swathi.

There is supposed to be a very impressive palace here so we got ourselves some train tickets. And off we went today. The train journey (2,5 hours) was very pleasant. After arriving and getting a hotel (only 11 euros a night for a decent place with private bathroom!) we walked around all afternoon to see some of Mysore. So here for all to enjoy: a Mysore street scene.

We also saw:

* A woman trying to get a cow to move away from her car.
* A very big covered vegetable market
* And lots and lots of cars, riksha's and motors (as we did in Bangalore).
