After a few days reprieve, we have got The Snow.

I went out onto the High Street and saw this wonderful busy scene, filled with mixed cars and vans, and a farm Ute going past with two eager dogs leaning out, longing to herd the shambling shoppers.

The town had quickly got into the Heathrow frame of mind. No post today, in or out, and I gather the door to the bank was left unlocked one night. Gentle chaos. But at least it is warmer.
