New Winter Boots
..and I mean on the car!
4 winter tyres and a new pair green wellie boots means getting out and about is made a little easier for .......('identify the legs').
When tunes slip into your mind for no reason, they've often been there before. Over the years I get this floating around in my brain -
"We are the exploration club
We roam around from pub to pub
To die of thirst we have no fear
As long as we've got lots of beer"
This harps back to the time when I used to go caving, or pot-holing, in Cheddar Gorge. (It's quite astounding to me that somewhere, once, I had a youth).
We'd all meet up and then someone would lend me their knife cell, the headgear with a light attached which invariably was far too large for me and was always slipping over my face, and off we'd go into the deep, dark bowels of the earth. I'd follow in trepidation and get way behind and see wee specks of humanity in the far distance, disappearing to goodness knows where and then realise there was some tiny crevice that looked just small enough for a mouse and I'd have to manoeuvre and distort my body to fit through.
At the end of this weird adventure we'd head back to some club and sing raucously.
