Up Close and Personal

I mentioned to my husband that I really liked the super close up pictures I have seen here. So, he bought me a lens for his camera.

Wow. I need to read and practice quite a bit. It's hard to take the super close up pictures.

However, at least trying these pictures forces me to take pictures of subjects other than our sons. (Because trying to take pictures of their constantly moving bodies with this lens is impossible.)

Any tips on taking the super close up pictures are appreciated.
