Charlotta's photo moments

busy busy busy

There are quite a few of these around the lakes; they are really busy feeding to keep warm and their energy levels up. I got a few decent pictures of these cute little birds, but most it was "I am here, now I am over here". They remind me of my son, just can't stay in one place for too long...

Long-tailed tits (Aegithalos caudatus)

The long-tailed tit is easily recognisable with its distinctive colouring, a tail that is bigger than its body, and undulating flight. Gregarious and noisy residents, long-tailed tits are most usually noticed in small, excitable flocks of about 20 birds. Like most tits, they rove the woods and hedgerows, but are also seen on heaths and commons with suitable bushes. (RSPB)
