Hunting the Hunter

The full moon is so glorious! Sadly, we missed the eclipse a couple days ago, but the snow that fell that night is quite lovely. It makes for a beautiful all-round glow!

Maybe Christmas will also bring a shutter release.. possibly a large tripod, so I won't have to throw my camera in the snow and delicately push the button.. eh, but this method works, and I can't take star trails in the city, so whatever!

It's not a well framed nor particularly good-looking image, but I am really happy to have captured Orion. He's definitely my favorite.
