Respite from the icy weather

Took advantage of the warmer weather today to get the car washed. It was covered in grime from the roads and despite the fact that the salt appears not to stick to the roads it appears to stick very well to bodywork.

It was the first time in two weeks that I could manage to get the water for the windscreen defrosted so I topped it up with neat washer fluid ... wonder if that'll freeze too?!

Well anyway, by the time I had finished the sun was just setting and a pretty shade of colour it was too ... although it doesn't really show up too well in this photo.
