Feeling Iffy

I am not feeling too good today (Probably got the cold all the Kidz at the theatre had all week) so wasn't particularly happy to have to go to our nearest city centre to pick up some final bits for Christmas. This only got worse when the staff in PC World were about as miserable as you can get without actually punching the customers. I then gave up trying to get into the centre because the queues went about 2 miles.

Fortunately my faith in humanity was restored by the staff at our local Farm Shop (Trevaskis Farm). It was packed with customers and absolutely freezing but the staff were brilliant, really well organised and HAPPY !!!. They also had everything I wanted in stock, unlike our local Tesco's that always get taken by surprise by Christmas and sell out of everything seasonal.

Anyway I am home now, Christmas shopping is about all sorted and I have lit the fire. All I need now is a large Whisky and Ginger and to fall asleep watching something like Mary Poppins or the Wizard of Oz.
